It has cost us in March before. Maybe Self has forgot about our Sweet 16 game when we had a 3 point lead with a few seconds left. We let a guy named Burke dribble across half court and throw up a 30 footer. Nothing but net. We lost in overtime. If I can remember, I would think Self damn sure could. Another chance to go to the FF down the drain. STUPIDITY!!!

I keep hearing the word "kid". At what age are these athletes judged to be adults. I believe they should attain that status at the age of 18. I felt myself an adult at that age. Just wondering.

@BeddieKU23 The only punishment should be left up to the coach. When BGreene pulled his stupid dunk at the end of a game that was already decided, Self reprimanded him pretty good. And I would not have been mad if Self would have given him a one game suspension. Maybe that would be enough to put a stop to these end of game stunts that have zero outcome to the game that is already decided. Other than that, I have no answers.

@mayjay Like I have said before, the blocked shot, the taunting, the players coming off the bench, Silvio raising a chair, the brawl in the stands, the suspensions, etc., etc., and on and on and on, does not happen, IF the bush league Gordon punk does not try to make a selfish grandstand play, that means nothing as far as the outcome is concerned, and lets the clock run out like all the rest of the players were doing. I can not understand why everyone is focused on Silvio this and Silvio that. The ENTIRE incident goes back to actions with 4 seconds left on the clock. I wish we all could concentrate on the CAUSE OF EVERYTHING that transpired after those 4 seconds, instead of picking out a person or incident during the brawl. It is as plain as the nose on our faces.

I sure am tired of reading and hearing about Silvio being the culprit. Yes he was wrong for taunting after his devastating block. But please remember how this started. Gordon is the one and only reason we are talking about a fight and suspensions. Without his stupid decision the players are lining up and shaking hands. Lets stop listening to Puke head Vitale and other talking heads and shine the light on the very beginning of this incident. GORDON.

Not only that. ESPN+ sucks also. Not sure how we got pulled into this Big 12 network/ESPN+ crap, but it most certainly sucks!!!

I have heard a lot of opinions about the incident. Here is mine. There are no fights, no suspensions, or even any hard feelings, if a punk named Gordon does not pull a bush league play while Silvio is running out the clock. I am sure Self has drilled it into the Jayhawk players to never run up the score or needlessly embarrass the opposing team. Remember the BGreene dunk? Squeaky said he told his players to stand down in the last few seconds. He is either a liar or his players pay no attention to him. Remember the Monmouth game earlier this season when another punk pulled a bush league play against Tristan dribbling out the last few seconds of a 110-55 blow out? I believe just maybe the Jayhawks are real tired of bush league punks coming into Allen Fieldhouse and after getting their asses kicked all over the floor for 40 minutes, they think they are getting the last laugh by being a punk. Bottom line is this: the punk Gordon is the one and only culprit in this melee.

Did Frank and Devonte help themselves or hurt themselves by staying at KU for 4 years? I do not believe they would have been better off by leaving after their Soph. or Jr. year. And plus they got a diploma. Devon is in the same situation at this time in his life. Also, think how many assist he could have by passing to Tyon and Bryce, instead of his receivers now.

Just sickening to watch our team perform like this. Then have to listen to all the trash talk for another week. I know we will lose some games. I just ask for us to be a little more consistent. Free throws? OMG!!! Not valuing possessions? PLEASE!!!
